They made it to 250 feet deep easily by the afternoon but only ended up with 12 GPM (gallons per minute). Not quite what we were looking for and probably not enough to do an acre or more of landscaping AND still be able to take a shower at the same time. So, Brett told them to dig deeper. Unfortunately, it seems that the prices goes up an extra thousand dollars for every 50 feet they drill. By the end of the day, we ended up with a 360 foot deep hole. A couple more feet, lots more money and we could have just dug to China! LOL BUT- our well is now pumping at 20 GPM. What's another ten grand, right? [ouch!]
