Day 54: Foundation Poured

I had the chance to go out this morning and talk with Gary. He was way friendly and chatty today. I think getting done with the most time consuming part of the job has made him happy. ;)

They poured the foundation yesterday. Yeah! Gary said it only took them about an hour. He said he'll take the forms off by Friday. Chuck will backfill by the garage area that afternoon. Then on Monday, Gary will make up some forms for the garage. It looks like if the weather cooperates Brett will have a garage floor by Wednesday. Exciting!!!

The cement trucks did quite a number on the driveway even after they leveled things out and added tons of rocks. Gary thought Chuck would be having Max come out and fix it up today or tomorrow. Just add that to the bill! LOL
