Day 7: Digging a Hole

With the corners marked, Chuck met with the Excavation Crew today. They spray painted the outside lines of the house and started digging a hole. Mom took the kids out after school to check it out. They thought it was way cool and scary!

Day 1: Ground Breaking Ceremony

Today we decided to do our own official Ground Breaking Ceremony. Dad & the kids painted a golden shovel and we headed off to Montana City to break some ground. ;)

Here's everyone taking their turn digging up a little bit of the frozen earth. 

[The Boy is always jumping in front of all our pictures so we decided to give him a little bit of his own medicine- Don't dish out what you can't take , Buddy! LOL]

Then we celebrated with a bit of Mormon bubbly (Bottled Cream Soda). We LOVE Cream soda!
Before we left, Dad kicked over the For Sale sign and took a moment to bask in the beauty of our newly acquired bit o' land.
